Important Settlement Dates and Deadlines
If you were a customer affected by the data security incident at a Buca di Beppo, Planet Hollywood, Earl of Sandwich, Chicken Guy, Tequila Taqueria, or Mixology 101 between May 23, 2018 and March 18, 2019, it will be important for you to know the dates for the settlement. Below are all important deadlines explained so you do not miss your chance to participate.
- 1. Claim Submission Deadline: January 5, 2024
Eligible class customers who wish to make a claim must submit a completed claim form no later than this date in order to be eligible to receive monetary relief under this Settlement. There is no charge to file a Claim Form. Claims received after this deadline will not be eligible for payment under the Settlement. - 2. Exclusion Deadline: January 5, 2024
All requests to opt out of the Class must be received by January 5, 2024. If you choose to opt out of the Settlement, then you will not receive any payment pursuant to the Settlement but you have retained your right, if any, to sue individually about the Released Claims. - 3. Objection Deadline: January 5, 2024
All written objections must be filed with the Court and sent to and received by the parties no later than January 5, 2024, thereby preserving your right to file an objection with the Court regarding any provision in this Settlement Agreement. This does not prevent you from accepting any benefits it provides. - 4. Final Approval Hearing Date: February 12, 2024
The Court will conduct a Fairness Hearing at 425 North Orange Avenue, Orlando, Florida on February 12, 2024 to determine whether the proposed Settlement should be approved as fair and reasonable. You may attend this hearing if desired or schedule a time for your statement if you object. - 5. Payment Distribution (approximately): Spring 2024
Assuming the Court approves the Settlement without an appeal or other circumstance preventing it, payments may be made to approved Claimants commencing during Spring 2024.
